Melrose Water Restoration

The powder room off to the side of the main entrance to this Melrose home sprung a leak and soaked portions of the laminated planks. The Before Photo depicts the water-damaged area with a dehumidifier drying the warped and uplifted boards. Unfortunately, the inexpensive laminate boards could not be salvaged as they soak up water quickly, like a sponge. However, we dried and saved most of them, lessening the replacement cost for our customers. The concrete pad was dried over some days, a slow process, and the baseboard trim was removed to ensure no moisture remained within the wall voids.
