Melrose Water Damage Mitigation
There was a great challenge presented to our SERVPRO team upon arriving at this water-damaged Melrose vacant house. The water from the leak was sufficient to absorb into the joints of the tongue and groove hardwood floor planks. The cupping in the Before Photo shows the results after all the water was extracted and the surface and subflooring dried. The After Photo illustrates the masterful job our WRT water damage restoration technicians accomplished. By slowly drying the floorboards and monitoring the moisture content until about 11% was achieved, the planks returned to their normal, level surfaces, with no further cupping. And then to a flat surface. No boards were removed, no sanding or refinishing was required. Rely on SERVPRO, "Like it never even happened."
